I tried for 80's, but I could only really manage fairy.

Saturday was Emma's 18th birthday; after a horrendous day at work I went straight to her flat to hang out with her, Lauren and a bottle of pink champagne. People started to arrive and we ordered pizza. I was already dressed up in my little girls underskirt, killer platforms and a sparkly top and I clip-clopped my way down to pizza hut, champagne in hand!
There were some crazy games before we went out, and best of all; a huge cake from Costco. I swear, those are my absolute favourite and all concept of cals goes completely out the window!

After leaving Pearl Lounge, I went to Burger King for some chips and a Diet Coke and then had an argument with a crazy old man creeping around mes copines! I then trotted off down Union St; paper bag in one hand and cup in the other - I felt like it was a real Carrie Bradshaw moment. As I approached the Trinity centre I saw a two guys playing the guitar and tambourine, I just went straight up to them for some bizarre reason asked if I could sing with them. I had to do a little persuading, flaunting my credentials but within minutes I was singing Valerie through a mic to a full Saturday night audience.

It was hilarious.

I had a really nice night - it was super funny, but ever since I've had the most terrible cold. I struggled through another awful day at work feeling totally gross and stayed off college today. I finished work on my surface decoration A2 sheets, so hopefully my lecturer will see that I actually am capable of producing designs when I positively must!

Girls Aloud with Hetty tomorrow - so can't wait!

Shorty was hot like a toaster

Last night was crazy. Isla, Emma and I were just staying in watching My Super Sweet 16: The Movie when they caved in to my weird obsession for the 24-hour ASDA. However, en route, I managed to persuade them to hit town in our gross clothes, I was honestly wearing a hoodie. We went to the first place we came across and it was just so strange. I think we were the only sober people there, and we got some pretty good banter. We went for a walk down Belmont Street afterwards to get money and some water and then, by 3am, finally made it to ASDA.
We loaded up on extremely calorific cookies, pop tarts, a 15 pence swiss roll and potato wedges and sat downstairs eating and watching Sex and the City at four in the morning.
It was such a lovely, unexpected night.

Lois's party was a really good night. She looked lovely with her LBD and pouffy hair!
Catherine and I invited Louise out to the Waltzers with us; she was the only person we asked who was actually interested! We stormed over in our pretty outfits, crossing the damp grass in our heels and it was totally crazy. Full of drunk 14 year olds, we looked only a little out of place. It didn't matter, we spent the whole ride screaming as the creepy guy pushed us faster and faster!

Amazing!

It was a party with cake - my favourite! One of those ones I love from Costco, with thick, white icing! I kept getting the boys to steal pieces for me so I didn't look like such a greedy heifer!
By the time everyone was hitting up Diva's, I began to get a sore head. So instead of being a cool kid, I went to Lazio's, got chips from Arthur and ate them in my car while I listened to the Legally Blonde: The Musical Soundtrack. It was awess.

Luckily, our lecturer was off today so Hetty and I got off with doing abso NO work, again. I made a little progress on one of my A2 sheets, but for the history of corsetry class we went to the IT centre and I can't exactly say what we spent our time on - it went by so fast.

Productive as usual.

I can make you ice cream, We could be a sweet team.

The graphic design class was enough for me sans Het, I really couldn't cope and so life drawing was out of the question.
What's new?

I called Jenna and we pretty much just drove around town and went to Starbucks for the afternoon. The weather wasn't fabulous, but I coped. I returned the skirt I obsessed over, it was too big. Luckily now I have the six and shall be debuting it at Lois' 18th tomorrow. Pictures to follow.

Maybe.

Tonight Hope, Darcy and I went for Ice Cream. There's this really cute place in Stonehaven called Aunty Betty's, it's got all sorts of lovely flavours, twinkly lights and candies in big glass jars. It's gorge and girly.
Hope and I both had the 'Holiday Rock' Favour, like peppermint rock. It's was delicious, but I thought it best to stick to one scoop!

My darling friend Catherine works in there; it's pretty perfect for her. We made a sweet plan to go on the Waltzers in our dresses tomorrow night. I'm excited!

I've been struggling to find anything interesting to write about as of late.
On Friday night we all went into town to get something to eat for Swanny's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACDADDY!) and it was totally fun! Apart from the manager, he seated Isla, Libby and I half way across the restaurant because we were a tiiiny bit late! Mon dieu, I can't help it; it's just the way I am! Anyway, there were plenty of spare seats, he was just being bitter and twisted!
Afterwards we went to the supermarket to pick up a few things, including a birthday cake. All we could find was a Disney princesses one with plastic figurines on top. I was lucky enough to be given the sleeping beauty one - Merci beaucoup core jest! We went back to Lauren's and played games. Lois is obsessed by this celebrity name games, and that took up the bulk of the time - so fun!
I worked all weekend and it was boring as usual. I hate that I get put on this totally made up 5th break on Sundays, I get up for lunch after all the food is gone and usually I've been working 4 hours already. It's bad, seriously, people take power so badly. Especially if it's self authorised!
I slept in this morning, I missed my first class so went in for the second - mixed media. HATE! We were collaging with newspapers and magazines and working on top in oil pastels - basically an excuse to read magazines all day. Dorothy wasn't too impressed and after 6 hours wasn't really up for our usual banter. We're still the favourites!

I might get on with some work for Monday. MIGHT

Le week-end

Friday, Hetty and I actually showed up for our scheduled classes together - this is certainly a first in a long time. We went to the good Starbucks for lunch and split a Skinny lemon and poppyseed muffin and had our lattes. I prefer the icing, she prefers the sponge; we're pretty much a match made in heaven! I spent about 30 minutes that day in the car park trying to find a space. I'm pretty bad with car parks, getting the car into small spaces - particularly without the luxury of the disabled badge (sshh!) - is not exactly a strong point. We were on time for life drawing and had a model for the first time this block. He stripped down to his sports shorts and lay across a piece of black cloth. We totally couldn't draw him, I kept making the poor guy look emaciated.

Yesterday at work I took part in a cyclathon to raise funds for the John Lewis charity of the year; "The Wallace and Gromit Foundation" which is an umbrella charity helping sick and terminally ill children across the UK. Partners signed up to do 20 minutes on an exercise bike in the middle of the busy shopping centre and customers would guess the amount that would be cycled in 18 hours and made donations. I was told that the maximum already cycled had been 6.9 miles and being crazy competitive I took it upon myself to beat that. Unfortunately I only managed 6.3, but when I thought of the cals I wasn't too upset.

Work today was insanely boring. The day seemed to last forever and nothing interesting was happening. I had a few nice customers and spent my lunch break eating pineapple and finishing the Jenna Jameson autobiography leant to me from Hetty. I loved it! I wandered over to the Haberdashery to hang out with my ladies there and look at all the pretty fabrics and sequins and discuss sewing and knitting and patterns and talk about fountain pens! However, I managed to stay there for a worrying amount of time and apparently everyone was searching for me! I got dragged back to do shoes but spent the rest of the day tidying up and talking to everyone. It was fun.
I took ages to get home and went to Sains, mes parents were not happy! They still panic about me journeying alone, being a new driver and all. I forgot to tell them and they freaked out a little. It's ok, we're over it now.

I'm sitting at home with some champagne - who knows why, my Dad seems to give us it a lot these days - and watching Grand Designs live. Tomorrow we're going to St. Andrews to visit my darling Aimee!
